Jeremy Frimpong strode forward, passing it to Callum McGregor in the middle of the park who picked out Edouard, with Johnny Hayes making the overlapping run an inch perfect pass from Eddy put Hayes in for a cross.

They tried to press Celtic and hit on the break when they could.

Motherwell did their best to make a game of it on the day and had their moments.
