Many Scotland supporters have slated former Celtic loanee Oli Burke after his latest performance for the Tartan Army.

Steve Clarke’s faint hopes of qualifying automatically for Euro 2020 were ended by a brutal second-half display by Russia, who fired four past David Marshall to give the hosts a 4-0 victory in Moscow.

And following the display, these supporters vented their frustrations with Burke’s performance, with one fan in particular very happy that Celtic did not sign the winger following his loan spell.

Burke’s loan spell certainly does not live too long in the memory of Celtic fans, following his frustrating spell at Parkhead.

The winger’s pace is electric but he has struggled to utilise it to it’s full potential so far in his career, as his end product often lets him down.

Burke will be hoping his latest loan spell with Deportivo Alaves helps him discover his best form.
