Jordon Ibe could become the latest player to have played for both Celtic and Liverpool if he completes a move to Parkhead this summer.

Following a successful spell with Celtic, Liverpool spent a British record fee of £440,000 on Dalglish in 1997.

And Ibe would have to do a lot at Celtic to earn the reputation amongst fans that Van Dijk and Dalglish have, but helping the Hoops win a 10th straight league title next season with a number of strong performances could put him on the right tracks.

The most recent example of a player having spells with both clubs is Virgil van Dijk.

Do you think Ibe will join Celtic this summer?

Craig Bellamy has also played for both clubs, though his time with Celtic was short lived following a loan spell from Newcastle United in 2005.

The winger is reportedly willing to reduce his £40,000-a-week wages in order to complete a move to Celtic once his contract with Bournemouth expires at the end of the season, according to Football Insider.
