Mohamed Elyounoussi has not set the heather on fire at Celtic Park yet.

So his mistake can be understood in the context of that … the real fault, I reckon, lies at Celtic Park and with our failure to respond to the media’s constant war of attrition.

“Celtic player says Celtic team-mate will leave for a bigger club.” It’s a headline writers wet dream, and it was handed to the hacks here on a silver platter.

One of the reasons I’ve had a bit of a downer on loan signings down through the years is that I’m acutely aware, always, that these guys aren’t “us.” They aren’t full parts of the family.

Remember, we have a Facebook page for all the articles and a Facebook Group for discussions about the pieces and other issues, and you can follow us on Twitter and on Celtic News Now.
