Former Celtic striker Cillian Sheridan believes Patryk Klimala will “relish” the challenge of moving to Celtic, after the club confirmed his move from Jagiellonia Bialystok.

Do you think Klimala's pace will help Celtic?

Sheridan played alongside the 21-year-old during his time at Jagiellonia Bialystok and, according to BBC Sport, told BBC Radio Scotland’s Sportsound that Klimala is a player who can offer a lot to Celtic.

We feel Celtic needed to sign a striker with out and out pace, something the club lacked and Sheridan suggests his former teammate has in abundance, and that can give the Hoops something slightly different up top.

Klimala certainly sounds like just the type of player who could thrive at Celtic in our opinion, given the Hoops’ high energy and free-flowing style of football.

I’m sure he’s going to relish it.

He’ll run off the shoulder, he’s fast, he’s strong, kind of deceiving for his size as well.
