Everton are the latest side to be linked with a big money move for Moussa Dembele alongside Manchester United, and Celtic will be hoping a bidding war ensues for the striker.

According to Football Insider, Everton have sent scouts to put together a report on Dembele ahead of a potential £40m move in January as Marco Silva looks to bolster his goalscoring options.

United have also been recently linked with a move for the former Celtic striker, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said to view the Frenchman as one of his main targets for the January window.

Celtic will certainly welcome interest in their former striker, with the Hoops having a 10 per cent sell-on clause in the £19.9million deal that saw him move to Lyon.

While Everton are said to be eyeing a £40m move, United are reportedly willing to splash between £45million-£60million on Dembele.

Celtic therefore could be in line to receive a fee in the region of £4m-£6m on top of the initial fee they received from Lyon, and the additional funds will certainly be a boost for the club.

How much do you think Dembele is currently worth?
