Celtic’s summer signing Jeremie Frimpong has admitted that despite living the majority of his life in England, he still considers himself as Dutch.

Do you think Frimpong will be a regular starter for Celtic next season?

As quoted on InsideFutbol, he said: I speak that, English and a little bit of Dutch.

He has represented the Netherlands at Under-19 level.

Frimpong is one of the success stories from Manchester City’s Academy and made the move to Celtic in an effort to get more senior game time.

He’s already made one senior Celtic appearance, where he was named as the Man of the Match so the signs are positive.

Frimpong is deeply connected to his roots and it is clear to see that he has an emotional attachment to the country of his birth.
