Celtic are showing an interest in Kilmarnock left-back Greg Taylor, according to the Daily Record.

The report claims that Championship outfit Hull City are keen admirers of Taylor, with Rangers also monitoring the defender after making his Scotland debut in the midweek defeat to Belgium.

The 21-year-old enjoyed a productive campaign last season, making 41 appearances for Kille under former boss Steve Clarke.

Interest from Celtic comes as a surprise, with the Hoops already having numbers in the left-back position, with star man Kieran Tierney one of the first names on the teamsheet when fully fit.

However, the 22-year-old has been linked with a big money move to the Premier League this summer to reunite with former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City.

Taylor’s value appears to be growing by the day after an impressive season, so if Celtic do lose Tierney over the summer, they may decide to quickly make a move for the youngster ahead of the new season.
