He led Celtic to three league titles, three Scottish Cups and a League Cup – and memorably all the way to the Uefa Cup Final in Seville in May 2003.

O’Neill was part of the fabulous Brian Clough side that won the European Cup back to back in 1979 and 1980.

He moved to Leicester City and won the League Cup there before taking the Celtic job in 2000.

They followed that up with two European Cup wins.
