Scott Brown has shared his reaction to Odsonne Edouard’s strange kick-off against Rangers, but will we see Celtic do it again in the future?

According to HITC via the Scotsman, Brown was left baffled by the incident and he branded Edouard “unbelievable” for the surprising tactic of booting the ball straight into touch in the Rangers half from kick-off.

The idea was to instantly put Rangers on the back foot and pen them into their own half straight away, while also signalling Celtic’s intent to surprise their rivals and show they’re up for the fight.

Do you think it was a good idea from Eddy?

It was certainly a surprising decision from Eddy to boot the ball out for a throw in and play for territory straight away at Ibrox, however the logic behind it is understandable.

It is unknown as to whether it is something we will see Eddy do on a regular basis this season, but it could be a useful idea in some of Celtic’s bigger games this season.

It was a wee change and Odsonne was unbelievable at doing it.
