Celtic are said to have had a bid for Ismaila Soro accepted by Bnei Yehuda, and the midfielder will undergo a medical with the club later this week.

The report also states how Celtic are in “advanced talks to finalise the deal,” and Soro will fly to Glasgow for a medical “later this week.” The Daily Record reported earlier this week that Soro was set to play his final game for Bnei Yehuda on Wednesday.

While it is always dangerous to make such comparisons off the back of watching YouTube compilation videos of the player, Soro certainly looks an exciting player in our opinion, and just what we need in midfield.

Therefore hearing that Celtic have had a bid accepted and the midfielder will now travel to Glasgow for a medical is hardly surprising.

That’s according to Football Insider, who have reportedly been informed by a source close to the club that a bid has been accepted by Bnei Yehuda for Soro.

The Daily Record have previously described Soro as a ‘fearless’ and ‘energetic’ player who enjoys putting in a challenge to break up play in midfield and defence.

Do you think Soro will be a good signing?
