Celtic take on Hamilton this afternoon in their SPFL opener. It’s Flag day at Celtic Park but not as we know it. There will be no supporters inside the ground as the bhoys get this ten in a row season underway but the stakes remain the same.

The biggest talking point before the game was who would start in goals for Neil Lennon after Vasilis Barkas was signed during the week. After mulling over the decision – Neil Lennon has decided to go with Scott Bain for today, even though he acknowledges Bain isn’t his number one.

Elsewhere, it’s pretty much as we predicted; Taylor and Frimpong in the full back positions, Ajer and Jullien at centre back with a midfield three of Brown, McGregor and Christie. Up top is Eddy, Moi and Forrest.

The bench makes for some interesting reading. Karamoko Dembele is in the squad, so are Klimala and Soro. Tom Rogic back in the mix too is great news for the bhoys.
