Jorge Cadete continues to enjoy his association with Celtic and the club’s supporters, over twenty years after he left the club in the 1990s.

Cadete became a cult icon at Celtic after signing in 1996, part of the formidable trio called ‘The Three Amigos’ that also included Pierre van Hooijdonk and Paolo Di Canio.
His performances in the 1996/1997 season will live long in the memory and long may this mutual appreciation continue.
Despite the contractual issues with the club which hastened his exit, he remains a popular figure with supporters, many of whom loved his Instagram update this week.
